No Need to Splurge: Afternoon Tea

Hi!!!

This first May Bank Holiday Weekend was around the time of my little sister's birthday. We wanted to celebrate it the whole weekend but also keep our bank accounts the same. Usually we are holidaying abroad or go to London to have Afternoon Tea at the likes of Claridges, The Dorchester or The Savoy. However, these are very expensive for an hour of tea and cakes, but we still wanted to do it just on a smaller scale.

With the beautiful weather we had over the weekend, we decided to make our own little afternoon tea set up in the garden.

All we did was buy a few sandwiches, donuts, croissants and baked a couple of cakes. The key here, was presentation which made it look super luxury, when it was cheap and chic.

To make this set up, you will need a a cake stand, dome cake stand, serving tray and chopping board. Plus a few cheap confetti balloons and blankets.

Hugs and Kisses
