Travel Essentials: What's In My Hand Luggage
Hi Lovelies
Just 4 more days until I jet off to Ibiza, and next in line for my travel essentials is my hand luggage. I like to try and keep my hand luggage minimal. I keep it to a few essential toiletries, entertainment and travel documents.
I always use my large tote DKNY bag, because it is stylish and oh so roomy too. It is just enough to hold of my key items and has been loyal for all my ski trips.
Cardholder/Purse - Primark £3 |
I always make sure I have my passport and travel documents if I don't have anything else. Those are always the first things I put in my bag, without those I can not even go on the holiday. That why I love my personalised travel wallet (purchased several years ago), because it keeps all my important bits together in an organised bundle.
Don't you just love the purse I picked up in Primark on Sunday, it has the right amount of card slots with a zip pocket to keep my Euros in. It is light weight and compact for holiday instead of my usual purse.
Hydrating Mist - Primark 90p | Hand Wipes - £1 |
Next is my essential toiletries for the plane. I have noticed that the air on planes is always so drying, which is why I could not resist the hydrating mist. It is small, compact and easy to pop into your bag when your face needs a refresh. Of course my trusty lip balm is a life saver up in air.
Hand wipes are always handy as you do not know when you might need to clean your hands or any spillages.
I have learnt my lesson from the incident on my layover flight in North Carolina. I am fully prepared with both of my inhalers so no more asthma attacks... again.
Last but not least, I have a holiday umbrella. Even when you escape abroad the rain still seems to follow occasionally, but I am prepared and have that avenue covered.
Next is my entertainment. Yet it still never seems to be enough as I get bored easily. However, I am hoping my two books by Nicola Yoon can keep me entertained.
My Ipad and Phone go everywhere with me, and my Spotify on either can always keep me distracted.
I love a good selfie stick, because some of my outfits need to be documented; and I would like to appear in some of my holiday pictures/memories.
Finally my DSLR camera. Perfect for capturing the sights and hopefully the lovely Ibiza sunsets.
Can you tell I am starting to get a bit excited now. I just have to get through these last 3 working days before I can have a well earned break.
Hugs and Kisses
